I know I know, enough pictures of your kid eating his feet... But how could I resist?

So Navie is hopefully slowly healing. She was doing so well after the surgery. She was out playing and having fun... until a couple of nights ago. I think we are going through the WORSE of it now. The doctor warned us that when the scabs come off that she will be in a lot of pain, so we were expecting it. It just doesn't make it any easier. She is waking up in the middle of the night screaming like a crazy child. We assume it is the pain because she will not talk, she just screams and occasionally points to her throat. We give her some medicine, put her back to bed, and then just wait for the meds to wear off so we can deal with her next screaming episode. I really really feel bad for her and hope that the pain will be gone in the next few days!
