let me preface this with I DO NOT SEW! So all of you sewers out there, do not judge! Anybody that knows me, knows that I am a "I can make that" kind of a girl. I am not sure if it's my cheapness coming out, or just an over confidence in my abilities, but generally when I see something I like I make a plan in my head to make it.
I love checking out etsy.com and seeing all of the handmade goods. They always have the CUTEST little girl dresses, that I would love Navie to wear. So, yet again I decided to try and make them myself.
I started with the pillowcase dress. I did a quick google search and found a TON of instructions on how to do this simple little dress. It really did turn out good... I think?!
Then I decided to expand my sewing and I tried the black and blue dress. I didn't have a pattern, so it took me a little longer than if I had, but I still like it. I then made her 2 skirts. One of them I am going to take her birthday pictures in... so stay tuned for that one!
As I said before, Navie will only wear dresses this summer, so these are right up her alley. She LOVES to wear them, and does every time that I let her. I love to see her wear them, and can't help but to feel proud as she sports the new dresses that her mom threw together!

Hey! I am a mommy of two little ones, Navie (4), and Ridge(1). I have a great hubby, Dax, who works hard at a local software company. I do a little of this, and a lot of that. I work as a computer consultant a couple mornings a week, take a picture or two in my spare time, and make anything that I can! Life is good!

Love and Love it!
I love them! Mialee will be in need of some of those soon so I'll have to get your instructions/pattern/how-to's. I sew a little, but not much. I'd hope I'd be able to pull it off.
You HAVE to teach me how to do that!
