So I must preface this by saying this is not the first, and I am sure not the last that my daughter will repeat a n.a.u.g.h.t.y. word that possibly her mother, but more often her father has said.  I don't think we cuss a ton, but the common cussers have been heard around a few times...  So with that being said..

While we were in Hawaii last week, Dax's parents took the kids for half of the week.  Dax's mom and Navie were outside digging up some plants out of her pots, and much to their surprise they found a bunch of potatoes under the dirt.  Dax's mom tells Navie, "Oh my Navie, look at these potatoes."  And Navie turns to her and says, " Oh my h.e.l.l, there are a bunch of them!"  Of course Dax's mom has to tell her that is not a very good thing for a little girl to say, and she shouldn't repeat it...

Yep, so when I said that less often it is me she is repeating...well this time it might just have been a little more me, and a little less Dax!  I do use that phrase all of the time and I really need to stop!  Bad Bad Mommy!

Then when Mitzi and I were shopping at Old Navy today, we were talking to Navie about her name.  I asked her if she like that her name is Navie like the store, and she said that she did.  Mitzi asked her if she wished it was named young Navie, so it could be like her, and she didn't.  Well, then my smart little girl turned to us and said Old Navy, just like Carls Junior (my uncle is named Karl), and Sam's Club ( her second cousin's name is Sam).  How in the world did she put that all together.  She said it right of the bat like she had thought of it all before.  I had never thought about the names of the stores and the names of our family, but obviously she has!  Funny little thing!  When  I told her that there was a restaurant named Warren's (my grandpa's name), she just thought it was great!
