WOW!!  I honestly can’t believe that Kindergarten for Navie is over with!  I can’t help but be sad that my little buddy will be going to full time school next year!  I am going to miss her so much!  She helps me out all of the time, and we do so many activities together.  I’ll be sad to see her go all day!

Navie had the best kindergarten year!  She made a ton of friends and had so much fun!  I was lucky enough to volunteer in her class once a week and go on some fun fieldtrips with them.  I LOVED getting to know all of the kids in her class, and could relate to her when she would talk about them.  It was also great watching her interact with her teacher and all of the kids.  It’s amazing how different your kid is when they are in school!

This is after a long day at the Environmental Center.  We went for one of her fieldtrips and had so much fun.  This was always my favorite field trip when I was little, so I was excited that I got to go with her.  P1000538

We went snow shoeing, sledding, and played games!  It honestly was a ton of fun!  Oh, and I can’t forget watching her and her little “boyfriend” flirt the entire time!  ha ha ha!  P1000527

I also was a room mom this year and got to go to all of their fun parties that they had.  Somehow the St. Patrick's day party was forgot, so I ended up doing the entire party BY MYSELF!  Let me tell you, I have never valued Navies teacher more than that day.  Plus, making 80 green bracelet kits was enough to drive me nuts!  Ha, a memory I will not forget that is for sure!

I also ended up teaching Jr. Achievement in her class.  Nobody else would volunteer, so the teacher asked me to do it.  I didn’t know what I was getting into, but ended up having a lot of fun!  I taught for 45min every Wednesday for 5 weeks!  I swear I never thought that I would be so nervous getting up in front of a bunch of Kindergarteners!  Thankfully,it got easier after the first week!

The last week of school, Navie’s class did science experiments.  I decided that I needed to share on the classroom fun, so Dax did her experiment with her.  We went with what we thought was the easy suck a hardboiled egg through a jar experiment.  We figured if the dorks on youtube could do it, then we were in!  Not so much!!!  After finally sending Navie to bed the night before, and hours of laughs and failed attempts, we finally got it!  The kids loved it, but we decided we were not waiting till the night before ever again!  :)

Navie Loved Mrs. Jones and learned so much from her!  She was a great teacher, and I am so glad that Navie had her!

The last day of school, I took Navie and her friend Allison to Classic Fun Center, and they had so much fun enjoying the first day of summer!

Navie, I am honestly so proud of you!  You are such a smart girl, and were always at the top of your class in everything you did this year.  It brings tears to my eyes to think of the sweet little girl that you are becoming, and how much you have grown in the last year.  Your mom and dad love you so much and want you to keep working hard!!!

Hey! I am a mommy of two little ones, Navie (4), and Ridge(1). I have a great hubby, Dax, who works hard at a local software company. I do a little of this, and a lot of that. I work as a computer consultant a couple mornings a week, take a picture or two in my spare time, and make anything that I can! Life is good!
