The Saturday before Easter we always do the same thing and it is one of my favorite parts of Easter.



We get up early and go to the local park for an Easter egg hunt. They always have a ton of candy for the kids and it's nice to see everyone that I grew up and all of their kids.


Then we head to Aunt Meri's house to dye some Easter eggs and have lunch. Navie was a lot more independent this year. She wanted to do everything all by herself... I know it was scary!



She liked dying the Easter eggs, but when Meri busted out the glitter shaker to put on the eggs, she was in heaven. Glitter and paint is Navie's favorite thing in the world! We had so much fun, and I have to admit that I like to dye the eggs as much as the kids do!
