We look great, and you all know it. Just kidding. This is the card that I made Dax for our Anniversary, I thought it was funny, but it took him a min to realize that it was our faces! He was just in denial that someday I was going to look so hot! I told him that I hope he is blind before I look like this... (Totally Kidding). I just want to tell Dax Happy Anniversary and that I love him a lot. We have been married for 5 years! Time flies! I keep telling him that it feels like it has been a lot longer than that!

So our story begins at good ol Convergys...
I was 17, Dax a year older. We both were dating other people. I always had my eye on him, I thought he was so cute. Our first conversation was him teasing me that if his wife got really heavy, he had things that he would do to help her... Long story, but man why didn't I know then... Hee hee. He says his first memory of me is my tan legs (that was the good ol days), and me laughing at all of the boys.

We would talk then, but we became really good friends when we worked for the American Express project when I was 18. Those were good times Dax, me, Brian, Craig, Pej, and later Lisa. We sat by each other every day and did a lot of laughing. We each dated other people, but I always had a huge crush on Dax.

Then over spring break he went to Mexico with his friends and brought me back some jewelry. When I walked out to my Jeep after work, it was sitting on the seat with a little note he had written. I was so excited, I finally thought that there was hope that he liked me too!! He then bought us tickets to go to Beauty and the Beast for later on in the summer, but I still didn't know if it was a date.

Then we started hanging out as friends, playing tennis for HOURS. He finally asked me out on a date, he said to repay him for being his tennis coach. We went to dinner and a movie and went back to his parent’s house. We stayed up until 4 O'clock in the morning just talking. It might have been later if his mom didn't come down and tell us to wrap it up. Although we hadn't so much as kissed yet, we decided that we didn't want to date other people. Who would have thought that we meant forever!
We spent the next three and a half years inseparable. We had most of the same classes at the university together, we would leave school and go to work together, and then when work was over we would hang out at one or the others houses until it was time for bed. We have so many good memories! We went on a lot of fun vacations together, Seattle, Vegas , Phoenix, Moab, Jackson Hole, and Florida.

We graduated in May, and got married in July! I am so glad that things worked out as they did, and we are still together after almost 9 years! I love you babe!

Don't tell Dax this, but I am glad you married him too! That card cracks me up. You really will be a hot 70ish year old. 9 years already...seriously? wow!
Funny how things work out huh?! You guys are such a cute couple and you have 2 beautiful babies to show for it! Hope you guys had a good day!!
Love the card, and the trip down memory lane. Oh, the good ol'days! I am glad to say that I was there for all of it, and hopefully Brian and I will be sitting across from you guys on another old couch, with our wrinkly faces. (If we live that long!)
That's a cute story, Kami. It is fun to see your pictures over the years. You always look so beautiful! Adam and I have been together nine years, too. Time really flies, doesn't it? Happy Anniversary to you guys!
I love the card!! You look beautiful in all the pics...even the wrinkly one! I didn't realize you guys had been together for so long! Joey and I are on year ten!! I guess time flies when you're having fun! Cute post!
me again!! at first when I saw the card with the old wrinkly people I thought maybe it was your grandparents or something. I was trying to figure out why you'd give old people a card that says "here's to FIFTY more". I was so confused! They'd surely be dead in 50 more years! HA! So I'm slow, what do ya do!
