It was just so rainy outside. Navie wanted to go outside to play...
So what do you think that we did...
WE PLAYED!
Why did we just keep finding ourselves in the gutter? More Rain!
And then... My cute neighbor came home, and one of Navie's bestest friends Zack saw us... So he came to play too!
Then Ridge woke up, and what kind of mother would I be if I left one of them out...
Yep you guessed it, he joined us in the gutter!
Not the most flattering picture of me... I know. But, give me a break, I just got home from the gym and it was raining on my head!
And really, it just doesn't matter... Because we had so much fun!

Hey! I am a mommy of two little ones, Navie (4), and Ridge(1). I have a great hubby, Dax, who works hard at a local software company. I do a little of this, and a lot of that. I work as a computer consultant a couple mornings a week, take a picture or two in my spare time, and make anything that I can! Life is good!

What a good mom to let the kids play in the gutter, but more importantly, to play with them. Those memories always meant so much more to me than a trip to Disneyland. I love your post on why you blog. We went to Thailand last year and it took several different flight to get us there and back. Before we left I had a will made up and had to find my top three people who I would leave her with if we didn't return. The whole week before we left I would have gladly stayed home and not gone, I secretly wanted to, but knew I had to live my life. Anyway, all was well, and we had an amazing time. However, I think that will be the last time I travel over seas without Emma.
Anyway, your pictures are always so amazing and I love your pay-it-forward notion, what a great service oppertunity.
You really are the best mom. I am sure your kids are going to have the best memories.
