So I really had the GREATEST birthday this year.  I know this is cheesy, but I think it was all due to the phone calls, emails, and facebook birthday wishes.  You can’t help but feel great when everyone takes a couple seconds to wish you a happy birthday.  So thanks family, and friends I REALLY do appreciate it! 

On my birthday, I went to work for a few hours, and then headed off to IKEA to spend a little birthday cash that was burning a hole in my pocket.  I got a CART full of picture frames, stay tuned for redecorating updates with them.  Then I was SO lucky to use a gift certificate that Dax gave me to get a massage.  It was such a nice treat.  I just laid there and thought of how truly blessed I am. 

When I got home, I had a little dance party with the kids and Dax (my absolute favorite thing that we do together), and opened up presents.  Navie was so cute this year.  Dax said she had a list of things that she wanted to get me, and they hunted and hunted to find them.  She knew I needed new perfume and brown shoes (I really did need them), so that is what she picked out for me, along with other things.  She is such a little sweetheart and was doing all that she could to make my birthday special! 

That night my family watched the kids, and Dax and I went out to dinner and went to go see a movie.  It was a PERFECT birthday! 

Oh, and Ridge had the flu earlier in the week and was still SUPER ornery if you can’t tell, so it made it that much nicer to have a break!
