Yay! Mitzi’s cute little baby is almost here! Can I just tell you how excited I am! We had a great shower for her last week, and it was so much fun! I have to admit, I loved throwing the shower as much as she enjoyed having it. I wanted it to be perfect, so hopefully she liked it!
Here are her invites, made with some of her nursery material…
We had a ton of yummy food. We tried to pick Mitzi’s favorites! Thanks Steph and Michelle for helping with the food. It was yummy!
I made these cute little boxes with a frosted brownie inside for everyone to take home. I think they turned out great, but I never thought it would take so long to cut and glue them together. If anybody ever wants a pattern for them, let me know. You could make them for anything!
I made this banner for her to have. It’s most of the fabrics that we used for her quilt. I think it would be so cute to use for Baby T’s birthday party (or Ridges ;).. he he he)!
We had crepes with strawberries and whipped cream for desert, another one of Mitzi’s favorites.
The lady and baby of honor! I am so lucky to have such a great sister. I love you and think you are the cutest pregnant girl ever!
And last but not least, my present to Mitzi. She has been looking for something to hang in her nursery for a while, so I started looking. I found a picture kind of like this online, and then made her one to match. I actually showed her the picture that I found before the shower, just to make sure that she liked it. She did, and then kept on asking me to find it for her again online so she could get it. For some reason I was just always too busy to help her find it ;O. The style of her nursery is more modern, so I hope it looks good!
Anyway, Mitzi I love ya and hope you had fun. Is it wrong to blog about her shower before she does? Hopefully not. Can’t wait till next week so we can shower it up again with the family!!!

Kam you certainly set the standard high for any other shower that I go to/help throw, it was so fun doing it with you!! I swear I just stressed you out more since I'm just a first timer and obviously had no clue what I was doing :) But it turned out perfect and I loved it!! So excited for you soon-to-be Aunt Kami! :)
What a fun shower. The decoratoins were awesome and the food was yummy. Dang, I left my brownie box in Lisa's car. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It really was the best day ever. Everything was amazing! I am so glad you had babies before me so I never have to compete with that! I can't even say thanks enough! Our little baby is going to have the most caring aunt Kami!
