Okay, I am going to go a little Hallmark on ya :)

For mothers day this year, I thought I would take a second and write about my two beautiful kids and the things that I love about them. They are the best things in my life and I am so thankful that I can be their mommy. They bring me so much happiness, and are usually the cause of most of my laughter. Becoming a mom is that best thing that has ever happened to me. There is nothing better when your little girl comes and gives you a hug and tells you that she loves you, just out of the blue. Or when your little baby looks up at you and grins and you see that glimmer in his eye. These are the moments that make all of the hard work worth it. I love my kids and are so proud to call them mine. I am thankful for Dax and so glad that we could raise these beautiful children together. Navie and Ridge your mommy loves you so much and looks forward to watching you both grow!

Here are 10 things that I love about Navie ....


1. Given the choice of gum or any other kind of treat she'd choose... gum

2. Knows how to pause her cartoons and looks for any opportunity to do this herself, and if we are leaving wants the rest of her show recorded

3. Loves to take showers and will stay in there as long as you let her

4. Pretends to know all of the singers on the radio, and if she doesn't know she'll ask you and then say that is what I was going to guess next

5. Is the SLOWEST waker uper ever

6. Wants to wear a dress every day

7. Loves her beanie babies Hoppy, Floppy, Flippy (Flipflop), and Sandals and will pack them everywhere with her

8. Has to hide from dad when he gets home from work everyday in the EXACT same spot and waits to be found ( under the coffee table)

9. Wants to play with the neighbors or her cousins at ALL times

10. Favorite thing to do is make crafts! she doesn't care what she is making she just loves to make things



Here are 10 things that I love about Ridge...

1. Has a smile on his face at all times. If you look his way, he'll give you a huge smile with his entire mouth open

2. Doesn't want to just sit anymore, he is starting to pull himself up on everything or diving for his toys when he is sitting down

3. Wants to stand up when you hold him, and is starting to want to walk when you hold his fingers

4. Loves his mommy! He will stick his arms out and lean forward when I get close. If he is fussy when somebody is holding him or on the ground and I pick him up he stops crying

5. Loves to shake his head no and thinks that he is so funny when he does it

6. Favorite food is oatmeal with fruit in it. He likes other foods, but this is his favorite

7. Laughs at his sister and watches her wherever she is in the room

8. Does not like to be in his car seat and cries when you first put him in it

9. Touches my face and hair when I feed him

10. Loves to rough house and be turned upside down. He throws his head back when you are holding him so he is looking upside down at everything
