Okay… The grand finale!! I (along with my husband) have decided that I am crazy. I get a little obsessive compulsive about things, well…. some things. I would say... hmmm not so obsessive about laundry, but yes a little compulsive about projects! So her little 4 year old birthday fell under the, yes a little compulsive category. Yes, four years old, like so little that she will probably not remember it, four years old. So, I don’t know why I decided that Navie HAD to have a birthday extravaganza, but I did. I get this idea in my head and I just can’t get over it.
So through much debate she decided on a princess party, but how do we do that when most of her friends are boys… We have a dress up Princess and Knight party! I spent hours and hours on the Internet looking for just the right accessories, but just can’t find them all in one location. So after all the work, what do I do? Hop on down to the local Zurchers, and bought EVERTHING that I was looking for, go figure!
I also decided that they needed capes, so of course I made them. Somehow in the last month I have delusioned (I know it’s a made up word) myself into believing I can sew… ha ha! Next time I decide to make 15 of anything, remind me of this. Just kidding, it was so worth it the second the first little kids walked through the door decked out in their princess and knight attire! They were so excited to put on their cute little outfits!

The brave Knights!
The knights had their own cape, sword, and mask, and the girls had a cape, tiara, wand, and jewelry! We started with them making their own mini pizza’s and then while the pizza’s cooked the kids were summoned for a royal quest.
They all sat around and heard the story of a fair and beautiful princess named Navie. Who was loved by everyone in the kingdom, except for an evil witch. The witch wished that she was nice and kind like the fair princess Navie, and was so jealous that she put a evil spell on her to make her invisible. The Knights and Princesses of the kingdom got together and found out that the spell would be broken if they gathered gold and treasures, and slayed the evil dragon. So with that they Princesses and Knights were off on their Royal quest!
The kids popped their balloons and got their compass to help them find the gold. Then they made their way to the front yard on a treasure hunt to find their gold coins, and a treasure box with real coins in it. Once, they all had their treasures we went and found the evil dragon in the form of a piñata. They kid’s took turns slaying the dragon and collecting the candy. They all got to come back for a Royal feast to celebrate them breaking the spell!

You are amazing! I think the party went over really well and everyone had so much fun! You should become an official party planner! Now you can get ready for Dax and Ridge's next month!
Wow, you are crazy : ) That looked like so much fun! She will remember it and remember how great it was!
You really did such a good job! Cooper loved every minute of it :) We would not expect anything else other then perfect from Kami!! How are you going to top this for Navie's 5th b-day?! Also, I loved the Knight cape's you made...so creative!!
wow. that is an amazing party! I'll be keeping that idea locked in my head until I have a daughter. good job!
Wow you are quite ambitious. She is lucky to have such a great creative Mom!!!
What a good mom you are. Only if I had half of your ideas, I would be feeling pretty good about myself.
Wow--you should be a party planner. That looks like a lot of fun and a lot of work. I hope her birthday was great! So....with so many parties, I'm sure she gets zillions of presents. How do you make room for them all? I have such a hard time getting rid of toys, but we can't keep adding to them without losing some. Any advice?
what a cute idea! You are so creative. I bet the kids had a blast!
